The iSpring GREEN Program is a four-step method to analyze your organization’s processes for cost saving opportunities that can be achieved using measurable sustainable business practices and operations. iSpring GREEN identifies those areas of highest return in cost savings for the implementation of sustainable processes and technologies.
Step 1: Introductory Site Survey
Discover the cost-saving advantages of adopting sustainable business practices in this complimentary, 90-minute session on-site at your place of business.
We’ll spend some time getting to know your organization – its vision, culture, processes, and your cost savings goals and motivations for “going green.”
We’ll do a walk-through of your facility to get an overall impression of the size and scope of your operation and where sustainable cost savings might be found.
At the end of the meeting, we’ll have some site-specific suggestions for cost-saving, sustainable improvements and enough information to prepare a proposal for next steps. The resulting proposal will outline the scope of the next three steps, the expected project timeline and the cost.
Step 2: Data Gathering
We’ll use employee surveys, on-site assessments, company historical data and one-on-one interviews to gather all the information necessary to produce an accurate picture of where you can best realize cost savings through implementing green practices.
Typical areas of investigation include:
- Energy Usage and Sources
- Waste and Recycling
- Office Operations
- Water and Land Usage
- Built Environment
- Transportation/Fleet and Parking
- Supply Chain
- Product and Service Design and Delivery
- Human Resources
Step 3: Sustainable Cost Savings Scorecard
Here’s the heart of the program. We’ll take all your information and feed it into a Sustainable Cost Savings Scorecard, a snapshot of where you are now and where your best opportunities for cost savings lie.
The Scorecard includes your company’s Carbon Footprint, which is rapidly becoming the standard for measuring an organization’s impact on the environment. It also includes an action plan with recommendations for cost savings. The Scorecard is your tool to measure the effect of changes you choose to implement.
Step 4: A Roadmap for the Future
Once we’ve completed the Scorecard we’ll have a final presentation of the results and a discussion of the best ways to implement the findings so that you can realize those cost savings you were looking for. We’ll also set up a check-in date in 60 days to see how you’re doing on implementing the first steps in your plan.
